NJSDC Summer 2025 Season is Here - IMPORTANT INFO

Welcome to the NJSDC summer 2025 swim season!
This is a long email....Please read to the end...lots of valuable information!
The board held its first 2025 season meeting. This is an update on a few items--
1. Listing of NJSDC Contacts/Board

- B-League Coordinator – B League Coordinator needed, please let us know ASAP if someone from your team is willing to help or if you have questions about this role.

2. Registration fee - The registration fee is $100 per team, due before first scheduled dual meet date of the season (or earlier!). Send checks and payment form (attached) made payable to NJSDC to Judy Sharkey, 109 Arborridge Drive, Forked River, NJ 08731
3. Mandatory Meeting May 6 - The May 2025 Coach/Team Rep (in-person) meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at North Brunswick High School, 98 Raider Road, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. We will meet at 7PM in the Main Commons/Cafeteria area
4. Contact Info - Please review your Coach/Team Rep contact information for 2025 now, if you have not done so already (see your 2024 contacts here). We would like to have all team info updated asap and ready in advance of the May meeting. Please identify new contacts to be added, as well as old contacts that should be deleted. If any changes need to be made, please go to the NJSDC website (njsdc.org) and make changes from the "About" & "Teams" page no later than Wednesday, April 30th (link to contact changes form here)
5. 2025 Dates
a. June Coaches Meeting – Thur, June 12
b. Championships – Fri/Sat, July 25 - 26
c. Conferences – Tues/Wed, July 29 - 30
d. Dual meet schedule is posted on the website (njsdc.org)
6. Running of Meets - NJSDC highly recommends that all teams run their meets using meet management software, such as Meet Maestro or Meet Manager (so many benefits-no meet sheets, electronic entries and results (no retyping), no time cards, computer seeding & scoring, and more). Meet Maestro is an online application that is simple to use and costs just a few dollars per swimmer. Team can sign up for the full SwimTopia team management software, or the "lite" version for running meets only. Check out your options and all pricing here.
7. If you wish to continue running meets with paper & time cards - Please look in your inventory...do you need Lane Timing Sheets/Pads/Cards to record times during dual meets? If you do, please let Judy Sharkey know by emailing her by Wed, April 30 at [email protected]. For those that need, Judy will bring the lane timing sheets/pads to the May meeting.
8. Championships/Conferences Hosts - Please count your remaining medals and email Judy Sharkey your inventory by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. ([email protected])
9. Officials - Dates for clinics will be posted to the Officials page of our web site soon here. Signing up for officials clinics is required, and the sign form will be posted soon. If you have any officials questions, please refer them to Karen Umbach ([email protected])
10. Roycefield Sprint Meet – scheduled for Sun July 20
