NJSDC Update on 2020 Summer Swim Season

FROM THE NJSDC BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

From all of us at the NJ Swimming & Diving Conference, we hope that you are staying safe and in good health. We have all been impacted by the current health crisis, but we take heart in knowing that with each passing day, we are closer to the end of this difficult time. Although these are uncertain times, we are confident that there will be brighter days ahead very soon. Stay encouraged and near to those you love.

Public health guidelines will continue to determine the viability of a 2020 summer swim season. NJSDC is committed to doing whatever is possible to provide our swimmers with some type of summer season. We are discussing models that may allow for a shortened season or virtual competition. We remain hopeful and will let you know how we will proceed.

Please also be advised that the coaches meeting, currently scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, at North Brunswick HS, has been cancelled.

We will await more information from the state and the Governor's office.

Warm regards and stay safe,
NJSDC Board
